Gecko offers something for everyone in our community, from direct climbing instruction, to youth programs, community events, special needs programs, yoga, parties and group events.
Chris and Catherine Tansey met in 2011 while climbing. They got married in 2013 and spent their honeymoon climbing Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Chris has his background in youth ministry and Catherine serves as a mental health professional. After a decade of dreaming, their dream of opening a climbing gym was realized in April, 2021. Our climbing community is the result of dozens of individuals who are passionate about climbing and pour their heart and soul into making Gecko amazing!
